• Frankie Lane, original front man of the Fleadh Cowboys comes to visit The Leeson Lounge playing some of his favourite ballads, bluegrass, waltzes and jigs. This is a free gig but donations are always appreciated. Gig starts at 9pm.
• The Laughter Lounge is holding a night of comedy for a great cause, Operations Smile Ireland. The night will be hosted by Gar Murran (2013 Comedian of the year Award) and Jack Wise will be the headlining act (2010 World Street Performer Champion). Friday 7th March
• Fenian Folk are playing all your favourite Irish Ballads at the Rathmines Inn every Friday. Gig starts at 10pm.

Saturday 8th March
The largest Salsa Charity night ever held in Dublin will take place in the Alchemy Hotel in Temple Bar. Salsa Dublin is in partnership with the DonateaDrink charity initiative and they will donate €4 for everyone who comes along on the night. All money raised on the night will go towards their three charity partners; Make-A-Wish, LauraLynn and the Umbrella Foundation. On the night there will Kizomba, Cuban Salsa & Bachata classes for all levels starting at 6pm followed by another set of classes at 7pm.
• Internationals Woman’s Day is an international day of celebration, where thousands of events are held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate their achievements. A night of music will be held in Turks Head featuring singers Kate Allen, Eileen Coyle, Theresa Garrihy, Lou Van Laake and The Bugle Babes. Starts at 8pm. Donations are appreciated. • The Merchantile on Dame Street will feature some live shows featuring a mix of the best new music in Ireland. The current line-up features Carriages, The Clameens and Rocstrong. This event is free in and starts at 8.30pm

Sunday 9th March
• Some live Jazz is happening from 5.30pm in Searsons Public House on Baggot Street with Felim Gormley and the Zanzibar Jazz Quintet. Free in!

Tuesday 11th March
• The Fiddleroom Folk Club is launching their club on a monthly basis on the North Circular Road Opposite The Big Tree pub. On the night there will be Imogen Gunner, Brian Fleming and Sean Conway to entertain you all on a menagerie of instruments including fiddles, bows, piano, guitar, percussion, 2 and a half voices, accordion and a ukulele.
