This award is presented annually to the Leinster player, voted by all the players, to have demonstrated the highest standard of sportsmanship and playing within the spirit of the sport throughout the season.
The award is memory of the late John Dawson, who was a long-serving and dedicated Secretary of the Leinster Cricket Union.
