Mental Health Reform, the national coalition on mental health are holding a public meeting this week.

Mental Health Reform aims to improve mental health services in Ireland, so that people who encounter difficulties can achieve good mental health and live full lives. This meeting is one of many that the group has organised in order to hear the opinions and lived experiences of members of the public.

Shari McDaid, Director of Mental Health Reform said: “Your views matter to Mental Health Reform. We want to hear from people about their or their family member’s experience of mental health services, to help them advocate for better support.”

The meeting takes place in the Carmelites Centre on Aungier, on Thursday from 2pm to 4.30pm. You can watch Shari McDaid talking about the meetings here.
