Pembroke Library on Anglesea Road will play host to two workshops for children tomorrow, Wednesday July 27th.

The first workshop, Sunlight, is intended for babies and toddlers aged 4 to 14 months. It has been developed by artist Helen Barry with the support of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and focuses on exploring colour, shape and texture. Through use of age appropriate materials and fabrics, parents are free to enjoy creating together with their child.

Under the Sea is the second workshop of the day, running from 12am to 1pm. It is a multi-sensory workshop for children aged 2 to 3, using sound, movement and visual art to explore the underwater world of the sea in a safe and dry environment. Participating in this workshop allows parents to engage with their child and get ideas for activities they can enjoy with them at home.

Admission to both workshops is free, though booking is required and can be done by calling 01-6689575.
