High hopes on medals day at St Pat’s
The St Pat’s Boys National School medal ceremony took place recently on June 28th. Bernard Dunne was a guest speaker at the event. Before starting the ceremony, a moment of silent prayer was called for parent, Tracy Stone, who had recently passed away.

Easter 1916: a Yeats Celebration
On Monday June 13th, celebrations were held at Sandymount Green to celebrate the birth date of one of Sandymount’s most illustrious sons, W.B. Yeats, who was born at No. 5 Sandymount Avenue on this date in 1865. The theme of this year’s programme was ‘Yeats and Easter 1916’.
