Clean up at St. Matthew’s Church

St. Matthew’s clean up

St. Matthew’s Church in Irishtown will be hosting a clean-up morning this Saturday 8th April between 10am and 1pm.

Over the past few years the front of the church grounds has become overgrown and a dumping ground for litter and larger items of rubbish. As a result, St. Matthew’s Parish have teamed up with An Taisce to tackle this problem as part of An Taisce’s National Spring Clean 2017 campaign.

Organisers are looking for eager volunteers to help tidy up litter and cut back foliage along the large church frontage and will provide a BBQ and refreshments afterwards as a thank you. Contact Nicky on 087 6887049 to register your interest.
