Do you live in the shadow of the Covanta incinerator? Are you a concerned parent? Do you want to know more about the danger of burning waste? If so, there is a meeting coming up soon that you may want to attend.
A group of concerned parents are organising an event on Tuesday 20th June with international expert on environmental chemistry and toxicology, Professor Paul Connett, author of the acclaimed book, “The Zero Waste Solution”.
The meeting will take place at 7PM on Sandymount beach near Sean Moore Park and will not only look at some of the dangers involved with the waste process, but also examine some of the alternative solutions available. All are welcome to attend.
