BBQ Time
A ‘Summer Sizzle’ BBQ will take place in aid of Cancer Research at Railway Union Sports Club, Sandymount, on Saturday June 10th 2017 from 4pm until late.
The Sizzle will comprise four Big BBQ stations serving Steaks, Hog Roast, Lamb and other meat dishes with complimentary salads all under the expert eye of top chef Florin Vasilache, of the renowned Asador Restaurant.
A Prosecco ‘Welcome Reception’ hosted by O’Brien’s Off Licence in Sandymount, will whet the palate for a full evening of events and a large attendance is expected to support a very worthy cause of Cancer Research in St Vincent’s, St James’ and Tallaght Hospitals.
The Irish Rugby team take on the USA in New Jersey that evening at 9pm Irish time and former internationals Eoin Reddan and Victor Costello will be in attendance to give their opinions on the televised game, the Lions tour and various other topics.
A host of ‘surprise’ musicians and a DJ will entertain those attending, with complimentary car parking available nearby in Pembroke Cricket Club and Monkstown Rugby Club.
Tickets at €30 each (€10 for kids’ portions), are now available from Michael Byrne Craft Butchers, 92 Sandymount Road. A Raffle, by kind permission of Donnybrook Garda Station, will take place for some interesting prizes, including a meet and greet with The Coronas.
