Some of the Canadian Women’s Rugby Team
Clanna Gael Fontenoy GAA club are hosting a juvenile camogie demonstration for some of the Canadian Women’s Rugby team this afternoon at their grounds in Irishtown.
The Agenda for the session is as follows:
3:30pm-3:35pm – Welcome remarks from each coach and a group photo.
3:35pm-3:45pm – Rugby Canada team leads the Clanna Gael Under 11 team in a warm up.
3:45pm-4:00pm – Skills session – Under 11 team teaches Rugby Canada team key skills of camogie.
4:00pm-4:15pm – The Match.
4:15pm-4:20pm – An exchange of gifts and photo opportunity.
4:20pm-4:30pm – Interview with players on their experience.
A large portion of the Canadian Rugby team are expected to attend following their opening match of the Women’s Rugby World Cup against Hong Kong at UCD yesterday.
