Heritage Week Continues

Heritage Week

National Heritage Week kicked off last week and continues until this Sunday 27th August with lots to see and do.

South of the Liffey sees events at the round tower in Clondalkin and tours of Rathfarnham Castle.

Saturday has Whale Watch Ireland meeting in Killiney to catch a glimpse of the giant watery mammals, a graveyard tour at St. Maelruain’s church in Tallaght, as well as an expansion of the Clondalkin offering to encompass a Viking experience.

Sunday sees the week conclude with Bat Conservation Ireland hosting an event in Firhouse entitled “Meet the Balrothery Bats” with Kevin Delahunty.
