Strange activity in Glendalough

The Lunar eclipse passed over Ireland last night and the tower in Glendalough cemetery was a hive of activity.

But it wasn’t bees that were buzzing around the magical spire, but chirping birds, crazily circling the tower’s ancient summit.

Was this simply nesting warblers working off a late dinner, or some other kind of loopy lunar phenomenon?

Who knows!
