The Horse Show in Ballsbridge is a few months away yet but we wanted to share with you this old Pathe News video.
1950 at the RDS event looks a very different affair from today, but the horses were still jumping and the punters still enjoying themselves even if voice-over guy had several more plums in his mouth than is advisable.
