AVOCA launches priority food shopping for frontline staff

AVOCA has specialised in providing comforting and homely services to customers for decades and has pledged to go above and beyond for the community during these turbulent times by implementing customised shopping services to the elderly and vulnerable.
As a way of offering important support to the incredible frontline healthcare workers, AVOCA has launched a dedicated priority shopping and collection point for frontline staff to avail of nourishing food in a fast and easy manner, while avoiding contact with other customers.
From this weekend, designated order and collection points will sit outside the Kilmacanogue and Rathcoole stores. Customers in need of a ‘drive by’ pick up service, can shop everything from the food market such as essential groceries, store cupboard staples and comforting main meals.
This new priority shopping service will be available seven days a week, exclusively to those on the frontline during this very challenging situation. If collection is not possible, delivery of the At Home Catering Menu is available within two working days of an order, where customers can add essentials such as butter, bread, pasta, meat, milk, eggs and fresh fruit and vegetables.
