Find out how a Message in a Bottle could save your life!
Join Dublin Fire Brigade in St Patrick’s Catholic Men and Women’s Society next week, when they will be explaining how the Message in a Bottle system lets the Emergency Services know of your basic personal and medical details.
How it works is simple: you fill in the Personal Information Form, put it inside the bottle, then put the bottle into your fridge. Once you have done this, all you have to do is adhere a sticker to your front door and to your fridge door, allowing paramedics to easily retrieve your medical information in case of an emergency.
Dublin Fire Brigade and Dublin City Council South East Area Community Team are helping to distribute these bottles on behalf of Lions Clubs International, a charity which operates in Ireland and the UK.
The event will be taking place at 2pm on Tuesday, when the Message in a Bottles will also be handed out.
