InterTech Ireland will bring No Fats // No Femmes to Google Ireland on Barrow Street this evening.
The event will be a panel discussion to address LGBT equality and discrimination. The participants will be David Stuart, Vivienne Errington-Barnes and Riyagh Khalaf.
Stuart is the Wellbeing Programme Curator and Substance Abuse Lead at 56 Dean Street, an NHS sexual health clinic in the heart of London. He has been featured in the VICE documentary Chemsex.
Errington-Barnes is the Global Events & Community Manager for HER, a social app for queer, bisexual and gay women.
Khalaf, the self-proclaimed “stud muffin at Spin 1038,” is a producer, presenter and content creator with a widespread presence on YouTube, television and radio.
No Fats // No Femmes is intended as a mantra with which to call attention to the often unaddressed homophobia, weight-shaming and bigotry in public life. It is a call-out to LGBT individuals who refuse to allow discrimination practices to perpetuate and who wish to be counted as equals.
The event will run from 6.30pm to 9pm.
