
Over 200 leaders from Dublin’s Docklands, including representatives from local businesses and politics, gathered at the Google Foundry for the “AI in the Community” event. The event was addressed by Minister for Public Expenditure and Digitalisation Jack Chambers and attendees had the opportunity to engage with and explore various AI products firsthand. This hands-on experience fostered a positive sentiment towards AI among key influencers present at the event.
The event featured a diverse panel of speakers representing schools – Philip Kelly, City Quay Principal, National College of Ireland, Julie Booth, the Down Syndrome community represented by Joe Hallam, and a student from Marian College, Arjun Ghambhir. Through personal stories and demonstrations, the panel showcased the potential benefits of AI for people from all walks of life. Their contributions highlighted the inclusive nature of AI technology.
