Ringsend native and twice Irish national road race champion, Lydia Boylan, is back in Ireland to take part in a couple of major cycling events this week.
Yesterday saw Boylan defend her road race title in Wexford, and next weekend 1st and 2nd July, sees the focus shift to the track and the Sundrive road stadium in Crumlin. “Dublin Track Cycling International 2017,” now in its fourth year, has already attracted some of the world’s top riders. And with participants from Germany, Belgium and Italy, along with a strong Irish team, this year’s event promises to be quite the spectacle of racing.
Entry is free to all spectators, and we wish Boylan and the other members of the Irish team, the very best of luck.
