In 2019, Garda Commissioner Drew Harris launched the Garda Youth Awards at a national level, saying that the awards will be a “showcase for the positive contribution young people are making in their communities”. The Dublin South Central Garda Youth Awards are organised in conjunction with the Aviva Stadium and Aviva Insurance.
