Leinster Rugby are going all out for Halloween with a ghoulish theme set to take over the Leinster V Connacht game at the RDS. The event, officially titled the Halloween Thriller Event, happens on Saturday October 26th with kick-off at 6:45pm.
The players are trying to secure a win against the Connacht side and want fans – from both sides of the Liffey – to come to the game in fancy dress. The match will also include a haunted house, trick or treat giveaways and prizes for the best adult and family fancy dress costume.
Leinster Rugby have been organising events like this on a annual basis for the past few years now – at Christmas time they heavily promote a Christmas theme, which also includes players in Santa hats, in a bid to drive up numbers. In previous years, Leinster Rugby have organised similar Halloween themed matches with fancy dress widely welcomed.
The events will start at 5pm when the gates open followed by kick-off. Adult tickets come in at €30, Children’s tickets are €10 and a family of four can get tickets for just €70.
