If you’re a big kid at heart or need ideas for children’s Christmas presents then the Dublin Toy Fair kicking off at the RDS is for you. This is a brand new event and promises to be the greatest toy fair Dublin has ever seen.

The fair will be packed with all the latest toys and gadgets, or if it’s entertainment you want, there is a PlayDoh area for adults and children, a Nerf target range and a Lego zone. Dublin Toy Fair also has a wide range of classic toys which might bring you back to your childhood. Guess Who? has been played for over 30 years and over the years has developed, instead of the simplicity of one board full of bizarre looking characters to choose from, they have now a few boards to make it slightly more complicated. For any Monopoly fans, the new Monopoly Empire board game is on the market bringing Monopoly to a whole new level where you can buy McDonalds, Ebay and Coca Cola. Anyone remember Troll Dolls? Trolls have grown up and are now a sophisticated punk rocker doll. Poor old Polly Pocket doesn’t even have a pocket anymore while Cabbage Patch Kids Celebrate their 30th Anniversary looking exactly the same.

Santa will also be in the building with a polar express train to escort you to Santa’s magical kingdom.

Lots to explore at Dublin’s Toy Fair over the next 5 days, check out their website for more information.
