The Christmas fairs have already started and maybe you have already bought that perfect Christmas gift but fear not if you haven’t, there’s still time. There are fifteen days until Christmas so there’s loads of time to grab a bargain and possibly help a good cause in doing so.

The Dublin Docklands Christmas Festival starts tomorrow the 12th and runs until the 23rd of December. It is meant to be something quite spectacular this year and promises a wide range of crafts, trades, music and food stalls.

The Dame District Christmas Market runs from Friday 13th – 22nd December. There are over 22 stalls offering something for everyone. If that’s not enough, each night there will also be a free concert for all you music lovers. Dem Fools, Jupe and Gypsy Rebel Rabble to name a few who will put a jingle in your step.

Sandymount Christmas Market is being held at Christ Church and runs from now until the 14th of December, 11am to 4pm. All donations from this market will be donated to Barnardos charity for children.
White Lady Art at 14 Wellington Quay is holding a Christmas Craft Market on Friday 13th- Sunday 15th and again the following week Friday 20th –Sunday 22nd. The emphasis on the fair is to buy your gifts from local artists.

The Life Centre at 57 Pearse Street is holding a Christmas Fair this Friday 13th, 10am -1pm. The centre facilitates young early school leavers and urges people to come down to support them. Their handcrafted work includes iced and decorated Christmas cakes, Christmas puddings, homemade cranberry and port sauces, wooden milking stools, wooden cribs with statues, wooden candle and tea light holders, Christmas cards designed and illustrated by the students, Yule logs, Christmas decorations, statues, plant holders and scented lavender bags. All donations received on that day will be going back into the centre.
