The City of Dublin YMCA is a charity organisation that raises funds for educational programmes, sheltered accommodation, early school leavers and family support programmes.

Each year, the Dublin YMCA needs to raise over €100,000 in public fundraising to ensure all of their services and programmes run accordingly. They are looking for your help in the run up to Christmas to buy a real Christmas tree from them with all profits going towards supporting vulnerable young people in Dublin. The Christmas tree sale takes place in Sandymount, Claremont Road and runs until Friday 20th December. For people who won’t be able to get to the sale but would like to help this organisation, you can pre-order your Christmas tree online and get it delivered anywhere in Dublin for as little as €10. Trees are priced at €40 for a 4ft tree and an additional €10 per foot extra. Fundraising coordinator, Joanne Ryan told NewsFour, “We really appreciate the support of our customers and the volunteers who are working so hard to ensure the sale is a success.”
