National Amateur Photography Competition

If so, then get clicking for Top Oil’s National Amateur Photography Competition. The company have announced that Ireland Uncovered is the theme for this year’s competition, which will see 12 photographs chosen for their 2015 calendar.

According to the company’s Marketing Manager Niamh Killeen, “At Top Oil we are proud to support Irish amateur photographers and have been overwhelmed with the quality and number of entries received in previous years. This year’s theme Ireland Uncovered is about encouraging these talented amateur photographers to uncover modern Ireland by capturing all it has to offer in their own unique way. Ireland is constantly changing and its splendid beauty goes way beyond our lush greens and very popular tourist attractions. We look forward yet again to seeing this year’s photographic entries.”

Even if you don’t fancy getting out and about with a camera, you can still have input on the calendar. Fans of Top Oil’s Facebook page can vote for the People’s Choice award, which will be picked from a shortlist and included as one of the 12 final photographs.

If you would like to see your photograph in Top Oil’s 2015 calendar, you can upload your images before the 31st of May 2014 to topphotocompetition.ie, where the required image specifications as well as the competition’s terms and conditions can also be found.
