Today (and tomorrow) is the day the Teddy Bears have their picnic

There will be lots of fun for the under-12s at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic today and tomorrow! La Jolie Ronde are running the event, which runs from 2pm to 5pm, in Scoil Mhuire in Lakelands and Lansdowne Tennis Club on Londonbridge Road.

Pre-schoolers are invited to bring their favourite special teddy or toy along, from 2pm to 3pm, when there will be French and Spanish games, songs and rhymes, and arts and crafts. Then from 3.45pm to 5pm, there will be activities for those aged five to 12, such as mask making, storytelling, and even a shot at building a model of the Eiffel Tower with arts and crafts!

La Jolie Ronde is a language programme which is used to teach French and Spanish in schools across Ireland and abroad. They have been nominated in a number of categories of the What’s On 4 Junior Awards.
