This Saturday, the not-for-profit organisation will be holding their first ever Fashion Sale at their Lower Liffey Street residence, with everything from designer duds to high street haberdashery.

Dress for Success was founded in New York in 1997 to help women with low incomes to gain employment and to achieve self-sufficiency, by providing clothes and training that they would not otherwise have access to.

The Dublin branch is the newest of the organisation’s 114 programs, and it’s all thanks to Sonya Lennon, a stylist, broadcaster, author and costume designer, who also presents RTÉ’s Off The Rails.

The event takes place from 10am to 4pm this Saturday at 18 Lower Liffey Street, on the corner with Middle Abbey Street, above the Bagel Bar.
