See three authors give readings of their work in Pearse Street Library tomorrow evening, as the Irish Writers’ Exchange and Dublin City Public Libraries present The Author as Foreigner.

Founded in 2008, the Irish Writers’ Exchange represents not only Irish writers, but also writers from across the globe. Its book of short stories, Dublin: Ten Journeys, One Destination, which it published in 2010, won a Metro Éireann Media and Multicultural Award in 2011.

Since then it has published the novels of two foreign authors: She Was Foolish? by Nigerian author Ifedinma Dimbo, and Bebove by Swedish author J.B. Rehnstrom, which the public will have the opportunity to see being read by their authors. There will also be a reading from Canadian author Roslyn Fuller on the night. All three of these authors contributed to Dublin: Ten Journeys, One Book.

The evening starts at 6pm on Thursday, and is open to all. Admission is free, and there will be light refreshments available. For more information, visit the Irish Writers’ Exchange Facebook page.
