Get swimming Against the Tide of Suicide!

The second annual swim in support of Suicide or Survive will be taking place this weekend, and participants are still welcome to sign up.

The two-hour swim will be leaving Poolbeg Pier in Sandymount at 12.30pm on Sunday, with the aim of reaching Dun Laoghaire Harbour by 2.30pm.

Suicide or Survive works against the stigma surrounding mental health issues, providing a range of services including one-day Wellness Workshops, which aim to give people the tools to maintain good mental health; the Eden Programme, which provides a safe space for people who have attempted suicide or who have suicidal thoughts; and training for people working in Ireland’s community and voluntary sector.

If you would like to take part in Against the Tide of Suicide, or would simply like more information about Suicide or Survive, you can contact the office on 1890 577 577, or email noeleen@suicideorsurvive.ie.
