Join Ireland’s best and brightest this weekend at the Career Zoo.

The Career Zoo will connect Ireland’s rich pool of professionals and graduates with the companies that could help them further their careers.

The event will feature over 65 exhibitors, including multinationals such as DropBox, Johnson & Johnson, Ericsson; Irish companies such as Version 1 and Bank of Ireland; and educational institutes such as Trinity College Dublin, the Irish Research Council and the Open University.

This will be the eighth Career Zoo, and according to Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, it plays an important part in helping to find people new employment: “At the centre of the Government’s Action Plan for Jobs is providing support to the dynamic sectors of the economy that can drive the growth we need… A real jobs recovery is underway, with 70,000 additional jobs created over the past two years, but we have a long way to go. Events like Career Zoo have a major role to play in helping to bring together people looking for new jobs with the employers who need them. I wish all at Career Zoo all the best for yet another successful event”.

Some of the highlights of the Career Zoo will be the Bio Cluster, which will focus on all aspects of Ireland’s biopharma industry, from quality management to logistics to research roles; a Speaker Series set to run throughout the day, covering the topics The Future of Digital Skills in Ireland and How to Tailor Your CV to Your Sector; and the Tech Box, which will present tech talks and activities from prominent tech organisations such as The Innovation Academy and Salesforce.com.

The Career Zoo will be taking place this Saturday in the Convention Centre on Spencer Dock, North Wall Quay from 10am to 5pm and admission is free.
