Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre will be hosting the Nedley Depression Recovery Program from Tuesday for anyone who has been affected by depression.

Neil Nedley MD has developed his Eight-Week Depression Recovery Program with the aid of over 15 years’ research and experience helping patients. With half of all women and one quarter of all men in Ireland experiencing depression at some point in their lives, this course aims to show the simple life changes that can be made to break the vicious circle of depression.

The course will teach participants how to identify depression and its causes; improve your emotional intelligence; enhance your energy levels and mood; live above loss; eat for optimal brain function; and stay motivated to change your lifestyle for the better — permanently.

The introductory part of the program is free and will take place at 7pm on Tuesday (7th), with the eight-week course starting the following week. The course will be taking place in the Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre on Thorncastle Street in Ringsend every Tuesday until the 2nd of December. The charge for the 8-Week Depression Recovery Program is €50, which covers all course materials.
