In the month that would have seen Patrick Kavanagh reach the grand old age of 110, Pembroke Library is celebrating the Irish literary great’s work, in association with the Ballsbridge, Donnybrook and Sandymount Historical Society.
Peter McDonnell will be giving a talk at 1pm today entitled Patrick Kavanagh and Kavanagh’s Weekly. Kavanagh’s Weekly: A Journal of Literature and Politics was a short-lived publication which Kavanagh released with the help of his brother in 1952.
