Inter7s have taken out the centre pages in NewsFour and set up a new charity page on their site, www.inter7s.com, with the aim of getting the best value from money raised and to show where the money goes.
They are going to work in partnership with SVP and NewsFour to develop different lists of community projects and needs, including fundraising events for external and international organisations. These projects will then be published, with locals deciding upon a Top Five. The winning teams will then select from these projects, choosing which charity to send their winnings to. Projects that deal with direct poverty, especially with children, will top the list of priorities, although all proposals will be reviewed.
