Inter7s.com will be bringing a regional qualifier, or two, of the Ford international F5WC five a side championships to Irishtown this month, where we will see a number of local soccer teams winning through to the Irish finals, and an opportunity to represent Ireland in the World Championships in Dubai, for a massive €12,000 prize.
This is a significant gain for the area, as previously, teams would need to travel to other venues in Dublin to enter these types of competitions, and it’s a massive gain for Ireland, and the amateur player, allowing any resident from 16+ to get the opportunity to play for Ireland in an international competition.
