Socia Soccer

Inter7s leagues run on the Socia Soccer principle they developed here in Irishtown. This respectful but competitive set of rules deal with the physical, emotional and psychological needs of a player that can also encompass other sports.

The principle has achieved notable status, to the point where it is currently taught on the UEM Real Madrid sports management course by Inter7s every year.

Socia Soccer is one style that Inter7s operate under, and is part of the broader ‘Socia Sportz’ rules developed by the club over the past 10 years, and is now part of the Spanish giants’ University Masters Sports Programme. Many of the competitions operate with monitors instead of referees. The onus is put on the captains to manage situations on the pitch, and the players playing, with close and measured management by our monitors, resulting in a more fluid, enjoyable, but still competitive game.
Inter7s also provide training courses in Socia Soccer and workshops.

Socia Soccer has now expanded out into other sports, resulting in the change to the term Socia Sportz in 2014.
