Be a heart hero for the Irish Heart Foundation!

The IHF is looking for people to volunteer locally for Happy Heart Weekend on May 7, 8 and 9.

Dedicate just an hour or two of your time to selling the Foundation’s €2 “Happy Heart” badges in your area to make a big difference. You can also help to fundraise by organising an event in work or at home. Join many others across the country in wearing red to work, or organise a tea and coffee morning. The IHF are also looking for Transition Year students to sell their heart pin badges in local schools.

The Irish Heart Foundation has been fighting stroke and heart disease, and promoting awareness of heart health for nearly 60 years. Donations and the work of volunteers help the charity to maintain the quality of it services, and its Happy Heart Appeal has been running for over 25 years.

You can contact the IHF via email at happyheart@irishheart.ie or call on (01) 668 5001 if you would have any questions or would like help with event ideas.

Register your school or event, or as a volunteer on the Irish Heart Foundation website.
