Throw a tea party for ARC Cancer Support!

The group launched its Tea Party campaign in Herbert Park this month, asking the public to help raise funds to support their services.

Now in its 21st year, ARC provides support to people affected by cancer, including those who have been diagnosed as well as their families, friends and carers, and all of the services are free of charge.

Ireland national rugby winger Luke Fitzgerald is putting his weight behind the campaign: “There is not a family in Ireland that has not been touched by cancer at some point. The impact that a diagnosis leaves not only on the individual concerned, but on their families, friends, work colleagues and wider communities is enormous. It’s a huge emotional rollercoaster for everyone and it can be hard to know where to turn or who to talk to. That’s why the work of organisations like ARC who provide people with emotional support is so fundamental – and why I’ll be playing my part and having some of the lads around for my very own Tea Party to raise funds.”

To register your tea party and to receive a Butler Chocolate pack, simply call (01) 830 7333, or send an email to jessica@arccancersupport.ie. Visit the ARC Cancer Support website for more information.
