BirdWatch Ireland and Dublin City Council’s Biodiversity Team invite you to take in the sights and sounds of the Dodder!

Saturday’s Dodder River Birds Walk will be a great opportunity to learn about the wildlife that makes its home along the course of the river, from the birds nesting and feeding their young, to otters, Atlantic salmon and wild flowers. During the course of the walk, you will learn how to identify birds like herons, kingfishers, dippers, sand martins, cormorants and grey wagtails.

The meeting point for the walk is outside the Dropping Well in Milltown at 2pm this Saturday (June 13). Attendance is free and all are welcome! More information on Dublin City Council’s biodiversity events and activities is available here.
