Get your vote in for this year’s Irish Architecture Awards!

Every year The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) asks the public to vote for their favourite architectural project. 36 projects have been shortlisted for the Public Choice Award this year, including Rosie Hackett Bridge, dlr Lexicon, Fire Restaurant and Lounge at the Mansion House, and Merrion Cricket Pavilion.

Sponsored by GerFlor, the Irish Architecture Awards celebrate and recognise architectural excellence across the nation, from housing extensions to larger projects such as Liberty House.

RIAI’s President, Robin Mandal commented: “The 26th RIAI awards showcase current Irish Architecture and it is exciting to see the new and diverse range of projects in this year’s shortlist. From domestic projects to international buildings like University of Greenwich – these awards celebrate Ireland’s architectural excellence and the creative individuals behind them. Architects add value and help to deliver quality buildings that will last. By bringing an architect on board at the beginning of a project can save clients time and money. The tide is turning for Irish architects and projects highlight the world class talent available to national and international Clients.”

The Irish Architecture Awards will be holding a ceremony to announce the winners on Thursday in Dublin City Council Civic Offices on Wood Quay.

Voting closes for the Public Choice Award at 12pm on Wednesday (June 17), so get clicking!
