Are you thinking about getting involved in next year’s Bloomsday festivities?

TimeMachine are looking for community groups to contribute to The Citizen’s Breakfast!

The living history events management company will be staging The Citizen’s Breakfast in the Beggars Bush area to celebrate Bloomsday 2016. It will involve historical food tasting, horse and carriage rides, fancy dress and a street theatre event which will feature professional actors alongside members of the community.

They will be running a series of free workshops next spring to explore local history with community groups through art, drama and script writing. TimeMachine a looking for a broad range of input from the community: “To truly represent the diversity of Dublin 4, we would like to work with as many different kinds of group as possible. Writing and artwork from these workshops will be included in the final performance of The Citizen’s Breakfast and participants who would like to be involved in the street theatre will be invited to rehearsals.”

TimeMachine needs to have an idea of how many would be interested by tomorrow (October 30), so get in touch with them by emailing Tara at taraderrington@gmail.com, with the size and nature of your group!
