Celebrate the influence of WB Yeats on today’s artists with “A Lonely Impulse of Delight” at SO Fine Art Editions.

2015 marked 150 years since the birth of Sandymount native WB Yeats, but you still have a chance to take in a tribute to the literary great.

SO Fine Art Editions’ exhibition A Lonely Impulse of Delight features 32 artists, and runs until the end of this month. It covers a broad range of media, with print, photography, sculpture and literature, all inspired by the work of the renowned poet.

Vincent Sheridan’s “And Evening”.

It boasts a roll-call heaving with talent, including writers Colm Tóibín, Eavan Boland and John Banville, photographers Amelia Stein and Paul Gaffney, and artists Kate McDonagh and Niall Naessens. Also featured will be some items from the historic Cuala Press, set up by Yeats’ sisters Lilly and Lolly in 1908, including the work of Jack B Yeats.

SO Fine Art Editions’ gallery can be found at 10 South Anne Street, and the exhibition runs until January 30.
