Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre has organised the Valentine’s event, which marks the beginning of the community’s commemorations of 1916. It will feature a drinks reception followed by a four course meal, live music and a DJ, as well as spot prizes and a photo booth!
John Laurence and Black Bow on Thomas Street have a special offer on for the Ball, with the hire of a two-piece suit with a shirt and tie only €60 for those who mention the event.
The Valentine’s Ball will be taking place in Gibson Hotel in the Point Village on February 12. Tickets cost €65, and are available from Ringsend and Irishtown Community Centre.
