Sean Moore Community Awards come to Irishtown

Sponsored by the Aviva Stadium, the Sean Moore Community Awards will return this May to take place at Clanna Gael Fontenoy in Irishtown.

Since they began in 1988, the Sean Moore Community Awards have recognised “exceptional community service”. They are named in honour of the late Sean Moore, a former Dáil Deputy, Minister of State and Lord Mayor of Dublin.

Any individual or organisation who has made a recognisable contribution to the community can be nominated for one of these awards, and those who feel that they deserve a nomination can put their name or the name of their organisation forward for consideration.

Of course, a person can put forward someone else’s name too. Anyone, whatever walk of life they come from, can gain a nomination and have their good deeds rewarded by the community.

Anybody who wishes to name a person to be nominated for an award at this year’s ceremony must do so no later than Thursday May 5th. They can do so at the following contact details:
