The weekend of May 7th and 8th saw finals day in the AUL Complex in Coolock for all DDSL clubs and Cambridge FC was proudly represented by our U11-B and U13-3 teams.

There was great excitement on the day, as both teams won their cup finals. In the U11-B Brendan Coyne Cup Final, Cambridge beat Ardmore 4-2 and in the U13-3 O’Neills Cup Final, Cambridge beat Esker Celtic 3-1.

Huge congratulations to both squads and management for this wonderful achievement. All our teams are coming to the end of their seasons and our U13-3 team are still in contention to win the league so hopefully they can complete the double.

The rest of our teams have had eventful seasons and the majority of them have reached quarter-finals and semi-finals in their respective league cups and have also performed well in their leagues, giving them huge hope for further success next season.

We hope to increase our team numbers from 14 to 16 next season, but to do so we urgently need more volunteers to come on board as coaches/managers.
