In association with Supervalu, Procter and Gamble have announced a competition with a once in a lifetime prize. Schools and clubs across the country will have the unique opportunity to have a training session with Olympic gold medalist Katie Taylor.

Ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, Katie and her mother are taking part of the “Thank You, Mum” campaign. The aim of this movement is to show that it takes someone strong to make someone strong, for which reason Supervalu and P & G are asking for schools, sports teams and clubs all over the country to show what makes them strong.

To be up for a chance of winning, people need only buy a P & G product in their local Supervalu such as Ariel, Pantene or Lenor. They must then visit www.trainwithkatie.ie and share a photo of their school or club’s bravest moment.

Taylor expressed her excitement for the Olympics and the “Thank You, Mum” campaign:

“I am delighted to have qualified for another Olympic Games and I am really excited for Rio. I have had a few brave moments of my own but I’m looking forward to seeing the moments from schools and clubs all over the country. Make sure to get your entry in before 29th June and I might be seeing you later this year.”

The competition will run from the 9th to the 29th of June, with 5 shortlisted entrants being chosen and a public vote taking place from June 29th to July 21st. Taylor will announce the winner on her Twitter account at the beginning of August.
