CricketRailway Union Cricket Club are delighted to announce that 2016 overseas player, Charith Fernando from Sri Lanka, will be returning to play again in 2017. Charith had an excellent first season in Leinster cricket in 2016 and proved to be a successful and popular coach with all young players at Park Avenue who look forward very much to his return.

Hockey girls
No fewer than ten players from Railway Union represented Leinster in the Under-16 and Under-18 Girls Hockey Interprovincials held in Cork in October. Three girls were in the Under-16 squad while no fewer than seven were selected for the Under-18’s who won the title and are photographed with the trophy. Congratulations to all players – the future at Park Avenue is bright!
Club Social News
Railway Union Sports Club has two important dates to remind readers about before Christmas. A Christmas Social for all parents will be held on December 10th while on the following day, the Club will receive a visit from Santa. Full details on Social Media.
