Dublin City Council’s Waste Management/Public Domain Section will be running a “Spring Clean Up Day” on Good Friday the 14th April, from 11am to 1pm.
The event is part of a city-wide focus on cleaning up streets and villages.
In the South East Area, DCC are focusing on “Vibrant Villages” and anticipate that local Community/Tidy Towns groups will use the day as a tool to engage local people and recruit new volunteers.
This year also sees “The City Neighbourhoods Competition” offering more prizes than ever for clean and tidy villages.
