Mini World Cup
With the World Cup still a year away, and the first premiership fixture of this season yet to kick off, soccer mad enthusiasts are looking for any way to get their football fix.
Well, Ringsend based Cambridge FC, may have just the thing for kids and parents alike: a Mini World Cup. The event is to be held in association with the FAI, and will take place in Ringsend Park, beginning on 28th August.
Boys and girls can take part in categories under 6, 8, 10. 12 and 14, with the final to be played on 2nd September when a parents and managers match will also take place.
Registration nights will take place on August 1, 8 and 15 from 6pm to 8pm in the Cambridge FC clubhouse, with a fee of €10 for the first child, and €5 for each subsequent one.
