The writer credited with such famous quotes as “There are no strangers here, only friends you haven’t yet met.” and “Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.”, Mr. W.B. Yeats, was born in Sandymount on June 13th, 1865.
In celebration of the great man, Yeats Day 2018 will take place at Sandymount Green on Wednesday 13 June from 11.30 to 12.30, with poetry, prose and song. Poems in honour of Robert Gregory will also feature.
