Heritage Alive in The Hive

To celebrate National Heritage week 2018, Donnybrook Tidy Towns with thanks to support from Dublin City Council presents the Beaver Row Players led by Glenda Cimino in a journey or more accurately a romp through Donnybrook’s history.  Presented through story, drama and song this weekend event will boast a line-up of connoisseurs of the locality’s past and artistic devil-may-care.  It will comprise a slide show by Glenda Cimino and original songs performed by poet Catherine Ann Cullen, monologues by 20th century rebels linked to Donnybrook performed by Mary Pat Moloney; Noel Murphy; Derek O’Shaughnessy; Dylan Delaney; Rebecca Blomfield and a proposal from Richard Good, engineer, to restore the millrace, followed by a discussion afterwards if time allows it.

It takes place this Saturday and Sunday, August 25th and 26th from 4pm to 6pm in The Hive, Herbert Park. Come along and see Donnybrook’s past and future made present! details can be found here
