Something of an institution in Ringsend, Mr Tilly’s Christmas lights on Bath Avenue are back and brighter than ever this year we are happy to announce! However, due to Covid restrictions this year no one will be allowed into the garden. Mr Tilly has been gradually creating this fantastic display for the past two decades, and has raised more than €100,000 toward care services in Blackrock and Harold’s Cross. The idea started when his beloved wife, Rita, died at only 58 years of age. Mr Tilly turned that tragedy into an act of kindness that has benefitted thousands. All donations raised go to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Service. This is a very worthwhile cause and everyone involved would like to sincerely thank you for your donations.
