Pictured are transition year students from Sandymount Park Educate Together Secondary School, who took part in the Young Social Innovators’ (YSI) Speak Out Tour, an initiative for 13-18 year olds in Post Primary Schools. YSI is a fun, creative and engaging experience through which young people get to co-create and implement solutions to real-world social issues, which was launched in the Mansion House.

The Sandymount Park teenagers were among 47 teams from secondary schools in Leinster, who spoke out on a host of topical issues, including homelessness, inclusion, gender equality, the “pink tax”, sustainability and fast fashion.
